We loved the T- shirt but needed the print for a cover for my husbands prosthetic leg. He was in an awful accident a year and lost a leg as a result. He is a Beatle Fanatic and we had to put them on his new leg. Thanks for the awesome art and it was the perfect size.

In 2013 I took a 2 month trip across America with my family in our 20' Airstream. We went from California to NYC and back hitting everywhere in between. I did art shows and sold gig posters along the way. Met all walks of life and saw so much. One of the standout things I saw was a little out of the way Mexican artist's studio near Old Albuquerque. He sold traditional handmade Dia De Los Muertos alter pieces. I remember being blown away with how simple they were and how not as ornate as everyone thinks they are yet they had such a presence about them. When I finally made it back home I did this devil skull and ultimately wound up using it on a gig poster I did for Los Lobos in 2014.
Who in the hell is Scotty Roller? Well, here's the short version.... I grew up in a gang-ran neighborhood on the east side of Anaheim, California in the 70's and 80's. It was dangerous and filthy. I'd spend afternoons in junior high and high school when I wasn't out running amok in the neighborhood watching and learning from my dad, how to hand letter, design and do paste-ups. He was freelancing from a drawing board in our apartment kitchen. That was my real art training. He's an insanely talented technical and fine artist. He had even drafted a few buildings that stood in Los Angeles for years. Not sure if they're there anymore though. Between watching him and spending hours in classes in school drawing all of the Jim Philips...
