Between Georgia O'Keefe's Ghost Ranch and the town of Abiquiu, New Mexico, across the road from Abiquiu Reservoir, and, part of the Chama River Valley, lay these painted hills and buttes of red earth. The late winter sun created wonderful lighting conditions that warmed up the Pinyon Nut Pine and landscape to make for a astonishing photograph. Can anyone say, "the Land of Enchantment" or "The American Southwest"?
